  • Exact same parts from 9289.com.au including delivery for $448.

Exact same parts from MSY w/out delivery for $435.

I dunno about bargain, but it's a good price… if that's exactly what you're after.

Less than a 5% saving though. Hmm. Borderline. I'd say not a bargain, but not worth voting down either.

    • agree not a 'bargain', but if it is cheaper than MSY and I don't have to leave my home, then it's a good price. $14 delivery to Sydney = $430. Agree with cooperdog below that the 320gb is a let down in the bundle.

  • Priced it up at Umart - $438, so that's also nearly the same if you can get to one of their stores and you're not tied to a bundle.
Personally I wouldn't be happy with a 320Gb HDD, you can get 500Gb for basically the same cost?

  • Agreed I dislike the 320gb but still a good price for what it is and worthy of my +ve

  • I vote a negative because the user is posting a special from their shop, and I think it provides them with free advertising in a way… If it was someone from the general public posting this then I would give this a positive vote.

    • -3

That's a bad reason to vote negative.
Employees are the people who best know where the specials are.
It doesn't matter if a store is getting free advertising if we are getting a bargain.

I'm voting this a positive just to counter your negative.

      • +2

There's a difference between store employees giving us a tip, and store managers thinking a few percent makes a bargain.

If you have a look at the submitter's other deals you'll see that none of them are particularly outstanding.

I can get this bundle at a local B&M for $408, so I'm countering your counter vote so it won't count.

  • I think this is an alright bundle… not great due to the HDD size but its still pretty good.

I mean… if you already have a box, you could get this package, pick up a 1TB drive with the order and you basically have a PC with 1.3TB and 2gb of ram for around $600.

The Q8200 is a 2.33ghz core as well… so its a reasonable speed.

Don't know if I would give it a + though.
