  Where can you get a decent marine battery cheap?

    I know BCF do Century marine batteries. I don't expect they stock marine, but just call up and try Tyrepower. Their Century car batteries were surprisingly very cheap compared to Repco, Supercheap, etc.

    I don't know if it's the same at all stores, but my local store has coupons for 20% discount on your next shop sitting at the counter, you get one when you buy something. Go in, buy something cheap, grab 20% off discount and use it on a battery. I don't know if there's any exclusions marked on it, but I asked and they said its ok to use on batteries, so I bought a battery at 20% off (needed one anyway but was going to buy from supercheap as they were cheaper on the battery, but not 20% cheaper).

        as far as I know Repco are offering 25% discount, And ING offer 5% rebate…

        Doesn't that equal 30%?

        nope as they are calculated on different amounts

        ITEM RETAIL PRICE = $100
        AFTER 25% DISCOUNT (100 * 0.75) = $75
        AFTER 5% REBATE (75 * 0.95) = 71.25

        Total Discount is 28.75%

        @Mattwilko Try and calculate a 25% off discount followed by a 75% discount. Is that free?
