Deals for Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus? Or equivalent phones?

Hi! I'm looking for a good deal for the S2 Plus, best one I can currently find is from Kogan.com at $289+$23 delivery.

My initial budget was around $240-$300 so if you can convince me something is more worth it than a $313 S2 Plus, I would be more than happy to take your recommendation into consideration.

I've done a little bit of research and it seems that the S2 plus the best for my price range (I hear the motorola moto g isnt too bad as well?) so does anyone know any better deals out there?

    $313…it's totally not worth it…
For about the same price you might as well go with the htc One X like this one

    better screen, better processor.

I would only consider the S2+ if it was less than $200.

Motorola RAZR M? Telstra had them for $199 the day before but now it seems to have disappeared. Dick Smith has them for $269.

The RAZR M has a better chipset, higher resolution screen, 4G LTE support, better build quality and larger battery than the S2 Plus.

  • Thanks for the responses guys! I think I might go with the RAZR M, it seems decent and it's much more convenient for me to go to dick smith to get it.

  • Ahhh sorry. So I reconsidered the Moto G as well which including shipping would be $246 while the Razr M is $269.

I was looking at the specs and features and then realised it's a pretty difficult decision to make.

Can anyone help me in choosing which of the two would be better?

    • Raise your budget to 420$ and get nexus 5 16gb. ;).

      • Haha, I wish I could!

The Motorola RAZR M has local warranty, microSD card slot, 4G LTE support, NFC, better camera and better build quality.
The Moto G has a higher resolution screen, slightly larger battery with a more efficient chipset and will be receiving the latest updates.

      • So torn.
Is having the latest updates necessary? It says it can upgrade to v4.1 Jelly bean. I'm sure it would suffice for me but I don't want to miss out on any cool features which comes after.
        The RAZR M's camera tho…
