    Only the fascia is stainless steel. The bowls for the steamer are plastic and the seemingly non removable insert of the deep fryer looks like aluminium.

    The deep frier is the exact same design as sold by Aldi previously. IMO, it's absolutely crapola and not worth the $$ for the potential of accidents to occur. After filling to the EXACT recommended oil level and adding the recommended amount of frozen chips, the oil froths over the side of unit, leaving you with a benchtop of lava-hot oil. After 2 attempts with the same results, i now use it to make candles instead.
