Casula Fruit Market - Any Good?

Hi all,

Been driving past Casula Fruit Market/World (could be wrong on the name) for the last couple weeks which is on the Hume Highway, Casula.

Their prices for fruit look almost too good for such a range (69c watermelon and $2 for 5kg potatoes from what I remember, but there are more). I generally get fruit from Woolies and was wondering if anyone has been to this place. If so, how is the quality of fruit/veges?

I plan to shop there maybe tomorrow and scope it out, but maybe some fruit savvy westerners have already checked it out.

Thank you!

  • Sweet! Thank you very much. I will be spending my dollars there from now on :)

  • good to know, thanks

  • I couldn't help myself and went today on my way home! Great prices for general fruit and vegetables. Everything else, probably not a good idea. Already cut up the rock melon and watermelon I got and they taste very good :)

Ps. If it weren't for the above positive comments, probably wouldn't have gone. Thank you community!

  • I don't go often but last time I was in the area the watermelon I chose was $5.05, she let me off the 5c

    • Rebel :P

    • woolworths/coles wouldn't do that, they want all the money they can get
