Refurb Samsung i5 Tablet 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD for $595 @ Big Ben Computers

30

This is a great deal - just needs an install of Windows 8 as it only comes with Windows 7. Comes with dock, stylus and keyboard. Found it at one of their stores for $600 but they have it listed online for $595. Cheaper than a surface pro and the build quality is quite good (for Samsung).

SAMSUNG XE700T1A-A01AU (not to be confused with XE700T1C)

Edit: they also sell the same setup with Windows 7 Pro for the same price here: http://www.bigbencomputers.com.au/viewproduct.php?cid=117&pi…

This has 2nd gen i5 and low res screen, I still think Surface Pro is a better buy.

      For sure

i was going to say the same, cos I bought the surface pro too.

  • I would prefer surface pro if it was the same price, but given you're starting at $679 without a type keyboard which sets you back another $129, you're looking at over $808 just to get started.

Mind you, if you had to purchase a copy of Windows 8 for this machine, the price does begin to come close.

      :) are you the rep?

      • I wouldn't be suggesting surface pro if you haven't got Win8 if I was :)

Had one of these and I wasn't super impressed with it overall.
Go for a surface pro or the new Gen Samsung with keyboard dock which have been priced lower than this in DSE sales

    Surface Pro is better
