Cheap rechargeable batteries?

I know Eneloop is the shizzle but I don't exactly need the top shelf batteries for a wireless keyboard/mouse. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • I need some AAA and AA rechargeable batteries as well (only gonna be using in my wireless mouse/keyboard and a laser pointer - not high-draining devices

  • I used a battery that had already done service in a camera in the mouse. Works fine.

  • If you can wait an interminable amount of time for delivery, the Turnigy stuff from Hobbyking is quite serviceable! ;)

    • +1

Thanks! I vaguely remember there's the R/C mob that sell 'em cheap.

  • My experience has been that Eneloops are very cheap, compared to what I've wasted on supposedly top quality rechargeables that died young despite my best efforts to treat them well. Eneloops just work, the others only disappoint.

  • I personally buy 'Btone' batteries from DealExtreme. They are LSD, and hold 75% of their charge for at least 6 months. They aren't as good as eneloops, but for the price difference, I would recommend Btone.

Ranking of LSD batteries (holds charger longest at the top of list)
    1. Eneloop ($$$)
    2. Btone ($)
    3. Enitime ($)

Enitime batteries dont't fall much behind Btone. But Btone batteries have marginally more capacity.
