  • I took my Dad up Brisbane Storey Bridge for his 70th (twilight session).
A little huffing and puffing - but truly enjoyed it.

He has a framed photo of us which was taken at the top with the city lights and buildings behind, and I photoshopped a neon sign down the side of one building that reads:
    H
    A
    P
    P
    Y
    70TH
    D
    A
    D

It's been "pillows and comfy slippers" for pressies ever since.

    • wow.. tats lovely.. i would do that for my dad too( if he was alive )..this is for a friend i know him since a year..thx for sharing :)

  • In to books? Dymocks gift card. In to diy? Bunnings gift card e.g

  • My Dad is in that age range. He likes to get a gift card for Kiva.org
I sometimes get him tickets to a play/art gallery show/event as he has lots of time on his hands to go do stuff. Also, from the OzB perspective, I can usually get him tickets at discount seniors rates!
