there are a few in western sydney - Ministry of paintball is one(almost Mt Druitt I think), Action Paintball another (Blacktown).
They were both good from what I remember.
As for cost - Paintball is always quite expensive. If you have never done it before, don't fall for the "$8 entry fee" stuff. Money is made on the bullets. I honestly can't remember how much the bullets were, but better if you buy in bulk with mates and split it. Prices for bullets should be on their website

Those are the offices, the fields tend to be out in woop woop. I've been 8 times so far and prefer Heartbreak Ridge up in Windsor (none of this 5 metre rule crap), but if it's your first time, you'll probably want to run with Action paintball as they're more newbie friendly.

Cost wise, it's been years since I was at Action, but at Heartbreak, expect to pay $120 for the day (incl 1000 rounds and lunch). If it's your first time then you're going to want more ammo cos you'll tend to go Rambo at the start. You'll also probably want to set aside some cash for drinks/snacks and accessories if you need (eg: gloves, box, neck armor). I'd recommend gloves as finger shots are mighty painful, but the rest are unnecessary.

If you're able to organise a group, most places give an organiser's bonus. Heartbreak gives the organiser a free gun upgrade (automatic gun for maximum pain!) and a box of ammo (qty dependent on the size of the group, 20 ppl got us 2000 extra rounds).

Have fun when you go and make sure you come back with some good trophies (bruises)!

  • thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments

  • Ive been to both action and heartbreak

to say which is best over the other i would say its heartbreak coz i think its cheaper by a little bit

both have good fields to play on and have their own unique stand outs. both times i remember i spent just under 200
