I was wondering if museums like the powerhouse museum/Australian museum offer free entry?

I noticed this in the Australia Day leaflet they were handing out at Darling Harbour today. FYI for next year: http://www.australiaday.com.au/events/sample-sydney-2/#.UuUD… There may not be free entry to everything, but there's definitely either discounted tickets or behind the scenes tours or something else special at a lot of the Sydney museums and attractions.
The Australian Museum used to have free entry on Australia Day. This year they have 50% off all General Admission tickets on Sunday 26 January. Offer does not apply to Tyrannosaurs tickets. - See more at: http://australianmuseum.net.au/Admission/#sthash.5rWvXe8L.dp…
