Cheapest Backlit E-Reader

Hi guys, This topic has probably been done to death but I'm in a bit of a pickle with timing and I can't find what I'm looking for, I'm heading off to Thailand in the next week so i will need to order a new ereader soon.

Basically I have seen a few posts here and on whirlpool of getting a Kobo Glo for $100, But can't find such a deal, whats the cheapest backlit lightish(not the half a kg aldi version) ereader i can pick up.

    Wouldn't back lit defeat the purpose of an e-reader (in that light is shining directly into your eyes)?
