      "I can't see this as a bargain…"

That's fine, "I" see this as a bargain because i love them and a chance to get twice as many is even better OR in my case… buy a churros for one (get double) and save $6! To me that's a bargain!. You can get freebies for your birthday as well. Great with a milkshake and you can get them takeaway too!

      Yummy!

Thanks OP i got the email as well!

The ones at Vic Market taste better and are cheaper…

        • +8

Yes,…and because thats available to me in PERTH! And everyone else whos not in close proximity to Vic Markets… Smart comment…

        • Mod: Personal Attack
With this deal San Churros are cheaper!
From the website: $9.65 for 6pk For churros with two sauces.
San Churros: From your link $8.95 :)

They are 7 for $6 at Vic Market, 86 cents each.

Those are the stores in the shopping centres… The caravan at Vic Market has them cheaper… It's been there forever…

I'm not the only one who thinks so…

Easily the best Spanish churros I’ve ever had (opps, besides from the ones I had at San Ginès, Madrid) but these babies located at the Vic Market are one of the freshest churros and yummiest around.

Might be worth a trip to Melbourne XCelR8….

"Might be worth a trip to Melbourne XCelR8…."

They'd have to be bloody cheap flights. And XCelR8's time would have to be worth almost nothing.

        • Stop feeding the troll churros. You should know better

They'd have to be bloody cheap flights.

He/She'd break even after about 95 churros assuming you can get a return flight for $200

It might not be the cheapest churros in town but I love their dark chocolate dipping sauce that comes with it and would happily buy one as an occasional treat.

If I can get double the amount for $8.95 then I'd definitely not complain. Hence it being a bargain for those that like their churros and chocolate dipping sauce.

      • So you're buying them just for the dipping sauce?

You should try the Vic market ones, they taste much nicer than San Churro. I can't comment on the chocolate sauce though. I prefer them with just icing sugar and cinnamon…

        • San Churro Sans Chocco

Oh my gosh. I thought this was a deal for the churros available from San Churro, not a personal preference war slash mad name-dropping spree. If that's the case, then Disneyland giant churros win hands down, in my books anyway. But I'm not gonna tell you all to book flights and go get some.

Price-wise, BOGOF is a deal. Taste is debatable, but I've seen some ridiculous deals on here for barely-appealing things anyway

Disneyland giant churros win hands down,

          $US7.50 for 2 churros.
That works out at $4.30 AUD per churro, vs 86 cents at Vic Market….

        • Well since we were on the topic of taste, I thought I'd throw my two cents in

  • 3 churros for $9 is a supreme ripoff. With this discount its more like a carnival price, but still, insanity.
