Have nothing but positive things to say about Acer, I got one of their ultrabooks for a steal and then ran over it with my car accidentally. Survived the whole ordeal with minimal damage due to the strong metal chasis used

You can get better specs at cheaper price at MSY any every day price.This crap from JB vs this from MSY. Same price( that is after a long and painful cash back process at from acer) and the one at MSY have double the ram.
This again compare to this. $178 cheaper while also having a better HHD.
Only the V7 is the cheapest price on the market and i still wouldnt pay $760 for that.
I would rather get either one of these two and slap on a SSD on it. Of course it would be without a touch screen but a touch screen on a laptop is not even that useful.Not to mention, most of the laptop o MSY are also eligible for cash back offer which make them even cheaper.
not everyone has a MSY nearby, JB is a lot more convenient
Acer C720 for $336. Any better price than this? Haswell ULV that run rings around ARM based Samsung & HP Chromebooks.

Disappointed that they don't stock the 4gb RAM version of the c720 here in Australia though, curious about the touch screen variant as well as I also don't see any retailers stocking them.

Oh well, Acer, you cant help but feel sorry for them, their whole business strategy went belly up since ipad succeeded.
combine with bad management, weak product design.
Still their product is passable because todays hardware is way ahead of software regardless, as long as one steer away from the chromebook, all fine.
