Mixed reviews, most problems are with the plug..

        This one worries me…

Even watermelon blocked it! And it takes forever when its gets blocked.

No good to me…when I'm thirsty I want my juice quick! ;)

Well, it is red, so one could assume that it would be pretty fast…

RRP is a little mis-leading. You've had these on eBay at $149 for 2 weeks and sold 5, correct? Maybe you should change the title to "Save $20" or "Normally $149".

  • I have one and it is quite good for a cheap slow juicer (better than anything for below $200). I have no problems juicing watermelon, kale, making soy milk, apple, carrot, celery etc. I have no problems with the plug (it is made of silcone so you just need to stretch it slightly to fit it back in) and if I had problems then customer service would be happy to help (I have replaced a part which broke and payed for a part that i had misplaced). It is also possible to make some sorbet by putting semi-frozen fruit in it.

    In short:
    1. You get a higher yield of juice from a cold press juicer compared to a traditional juicer.
    2. The motor in a cold press juicer spins at a much slower revolutions per minute which means that in the
process of juicing, the juice is not heat treated (traditional juicer) enabling the juice to retain more of the nutrients
    3. The slow juicing causes less oxidization (foam/head)resulting in better tasting juice.
