  Fortunately it's not pay to win as the premium tanks you can buy are all pretty balanced. You can buy premium ammunition but generally people don't bother to unless its high tier/clan wars. All other upgrades and such have to be obtained by the typical grinding.

  If you enjoy the game you will probably want to pay for premium subscription when you are into higher tier games but there's still plenty of free fun to be had in the early-mid war tanks.
  Nobody with any sense pays for premium ammunition with $ since it can be bought using in game credits that you earn by playing.

Thanks. I did not know it was free for the 360 so I just added it to my XBox account. :-)
