Seems like a pretty decent price compared to retail. Doesn't come with the mixamp though, so you'll need to purchase that if you want to use the voice features with xbox/ps3, and get 7.1 sound.

The $299 is with a mixamp. This is just the headphones. They are roughly the same price from the Astro gaming website with the currency conversion. Without the mixamp these headphones are nothing special and the price isn't either.
Astro charge $90US to ship them. Even if shipping was free it doesn't deserve the neg. Just don't vote. It's genuinely cheaper then elsewhere

Keep an eye on ebay. Especially international. They do pop up. I have bought myself and cousin mixamps
Astros are good headphones but rate my audio technicas overthem anyday
