so here it goes, im finding a good computer deal for my cousions to buy. theres a posting on ozbargain on tuesday about 15% off or similar. i had a surf on the site, found some deals, worked out to be $1095, save $400. (Vostro 220, e7400, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 24 inch LCD, Vista Business, upgraded keyboard lol) It was $200 cash off, plus another $200 off if you upgraded the computer to over $1400 or so.
I was busy until just now, so i checked it again, ready to buy it, but the deal had changed, it hadn't even expired yet, it is now $1195 for the exact same computer. you only get $100 off for upgrading the computer over $1400, to get $200 off you needed to spend $1600!
I was part of the Dell fiasco back last year, but damn, they are still heaps dodgy.
Stop wasting your time & buy elsewhere.
