It was in the days before I realised I was a confirmed torchaholic.
They are junk. Give these torches the big swerve.

I have used these cheapie torches as a tube extender on a Sipik SK68. It means you can run 2xAA's on them and crank some great brightness. Sure it looks a little odd, but who can see it with all that light blasting out. It's easier than messing about with 14500 fancy batts.
How the hell did you get the time to figure that out? Damn, that's impressive.
I have 2 of these, bought them a few months ago, neither of them work now. Really, they are just a piece of rubbish. Spend your money elsewhere.
I have been using 2 left-over LED "candles" from Carols by Candlelight as the house torches since 2011; will even I be disappointed with these? For $1.50 shipped…..
