Travel insurance for a cruise

can anyone recommend a good travel insurance policy? preferably one where there has been something that has gone wrong and they have not given you the run around
i require unlimited medical

  • tid.com.au might be worth looking at. Served me well, though never had to claim medical (just a few thefts/broken iPhones).

  • SCTI ( Southern cross travel insurance ) We have used them for years for cruises & normal hotel/flight holidays.
    They are consistently ranked one of the best but are very affordable compared to most others. When I did break my wrist in Ko Samui last year there were no problems with hospital bills & even flew us both home business class at the end of our stay ( could have come home earlier if had wanted to after it happened but decided to stay )

  • I've claimed with TID and always promote them. But today I just checked with Medibank travel insurance and it comes out much cheaper even with no excess. Give them a shot
