I'm not sure how much they are on TV, But why not buy it off eBay to make sure you receive everything you ask for

    • wow that's for a fraction of the price!

    • The magic bullet is not the same as the Nutri-bullet

i bought this same blender with 2 bowls and rubber seals for like 5 bucks at a garage sale, it packs a lot of power for the size, can pulverize hard nuts in seconds!

i'm sure it is an over-priced gimmick you don't really need

    Particularly loud, I gather.

Invest in some Nutri-Earplugs as well?

  • Got one of these from aldi a few years back, was $20 or $30. Quite noisy, but useful for making smoothies, or mashing carrots or potatoes. I wouldn't pay too much for it though, it's handy but not life changing, so just go with the cheapest price. Oh and the clips on one of the clear plastic cups broke, so had to throw that away, but otherwise our has lasted okay.

  • May have missed the opportunity to help but I bought the Magic bullet in 2006 it was awesome. Probably used it at least once a day. I killed the motor and so now I'm about to buy the Nutri Bullet to replace it. Despite killing the motor I definitely got my money worth. I paid $120 (or so) + PH and got 2 magic bullets (I gave one to my sister). and it lasted 6 years. Given how much I used it I was surprised it lasted that long.

I would say definitely worth the money, Not a gimic although like everything you pay for the brand name (not sure that the Aldi version would perform as well at the actual bullet).

I think my old man got sucked into buying one of these from the TV ad. He paid close to $300 delivered though. Not worth it for that price. There is a debate as to validity of the claims on that infomercial too re having to pulverise your food to extract the nutrients. You know, your body does most of that itself, and for free. Sure, you might not get every nutrient out of a chunk of steak you swallowed without chewing, or any other large item for that matter, but I think for most of us, your body is the best food processor going around.

  • the whirlpool thread on this made me LOL several times

    find it
