According to this review and specification list the internal memory is 150mb, that is pretty low, I have my doubts about this phone, especially when I read how much internal memory it has. If you don't want to install any apps, and just make calls only, I guess it would be O.K.

There's a few things I don't like.. but it's still a decent phone for basic stuff. It gets a bit laggy if you download too much.. also the internal storage space is not a lot so don't expect to download too many apps. Too many widgets lag the phone bad of course. I had to uninstall a few apps to get the phone working faster again. Worst part is you can't move most apps to the 1gb sd card storage which badly sucks. Only some apps but that's unpredictable. Other than that, for cheap price it's good enough for texting and calls and some browsing. Even tried using one of those apps to call someone for free over internet (Kakao Talk was the only one that worked well – and Tango)

excellent find the only thing that concerns me is the memory available for apps if it's like 100mb or less it sort of kills it 500mb-1gb it's short-listed for the kids…

Not a lot of memory at all. It lags. Like I said, it's just for basics, maybe you can game but it would most likely lag. Ram right now says 92 mb used – 51 mb free and keeps rising. Probably because of the apps I downloaded but I don't think there's much ram anyway in the first place.

    • So, you know its going to lag if you install things, but if you are going to make phone calls only and you like it, well its up to you

I'm guessing (but I'm not sure) if you root it, it would improve the internal memory a bit, probably not too much as it is very low to start with in the beginning anyway. Rooting did speed up my optimus phone and improved the memory as I was able to install to sd card.

I have this and yep, it's a terrible phone. It's out of date, it crashes a lot, the keyboard is unwieldy and you can forget about installing any apps. But it is great for a spare when I've broken my other phone, or maybe to keep in the glovebox.

Horrible memories of trying to use non-wireless internet on Android 2.3, it was ridiculously bad. The xperia used to reboot the whole phone anytime the internet crashed, and that happened basically all the time.

  • If your on a massively tight budget $23 for an Android phone is pretty great, on the flip side skip drinking, smokes or eating out for a few weeks and I'm sure $100 can be saved for a decent phone

  • For W.A I can confirm Coles in Beldon and Warwick are out of stock :(
