I need to advise a friend on cheap option to fly to Sydney from Los Angeles or San Fransisco. Does anyone have experience using United Mileage Points to Upgrade to Premium Economy or Business Class? Travel dates are April 17 to May 3. Is flying to Hawaii an option seeing that the route is probably shorter.
