Galaxy Note 3 owners - how is your experience so far?

I know there are 1,000,001 reviews out there, trust me I've read most of them lol, the idea of this post is to hear from owners of the phone after months of ownership.

More interested in the N9005 (Snapdragon version) though all feedback is good.

  • Experienced any slow downs (increased lag)?
  • Bugs?
  • Have you rooted it? if so, which ROM and how is that working out? (I personally like CM but I hear AOKP is good too)

Anything else noteworthy, mention it here.

I'm planning to get one in the near future, I was going to get it when they came out but employment took a turn for the worse and it's never been top of my priorities, but my Note1 is aging poorly and the need to upgrade is coming.

    Nope, it's still working great for me. Only have 84 apps installed

    Nope, but thinking about it. Tripping the Knox counter is the main reason I haven't rooted.

    When I got the Note 3, I was sure the Note 4 would be my next phone and still feel that way. Main annoyance is Knox which is why my phone isn't rooted and the camera focus is such a high-pitched sound(which rooting would solved)

    I bought mine last year in November after my Nexus 1 (A really old phone) broke down.
    Haven't really noticed any slow downs or anything since I bought it. Then again I don't really put much external things on it such as music or videos.

    I'd say it is worth getting. I absolutely love my Note 3 and have noticed more and more people getting them now.
    It's always funny when people point out how big it is compared to their iPhone.

    You won't regret buying it! I bought mine outright at JB HiFi for $799. Asked them to price match online a $700 one they said no but gave me a discount. Then BYO mobile plan.

    My son just bought one. So far I haven't heard any bad comments about the phone from him. I think it should be a good phone as he is very picky about his mobile phone. He always complained about lagging and short battery life with his previous phones. Btw, he has not rooted his phone.
