what's the cheapest external Blu-Ray burner around? i found one on quickbuy pioneer copy brand for around $80. but can't find any cheaper than that? unless you're looking at the internal one here:

If you can grab a Pioneer for that price new, jump on it.
I got a Samsung SE-506 from MSY for around $100.

Use it on my Mac mini (it's also Win compatible, of course). Also does Blu Ray 3D and Blu Ray XL
Would highly recommend.
EDIT: I realise this is more expensive than the one you mention, but I'm just saying it is good quality and great value at this price IMHO
