Can someone please let me know what this type of plug is called

http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/11967/21353/20140228_14…

I've tried googling "3 hole plug for scanner" and other things but not getting anything.

Its a power source for HP scanner. The back of the scanner where it plugs in to says 16-32V.
Is it HP-specific?

I'm just looking for a replacement from ebay etc.

Thanks in advance.

  • that looks like a proprietary hp plug. i'm guessing it is attached to a power brick. you probably need to buy a new brick.

  • +2

An HP inkjet I had used that.
Searching ebay I found an auction with a similar pic listing the part number. An international search shows them for about $20:

    • just make sure the brick supplies has an output current rating at least the same as the original

  • Yeah, it's the same as the one on my HP 1510 from BigW.

    Output +30V 333mA

If the output is the same, you can pick this up as a nice cheap scanner/printer and use the same cord.
