Optical Health Insurance

Hi guys,

I am with AHM Lifestyle extras only. I don't need glasses as I recently had laser eye correction. However, I just wanted to know of anyways to utilize this benefit. Maybe I can buy prescriptive contacts or glasses for a friend? Or maybe some places will allow non-prescriptive items to be covered under health insurance such as sun glasses or eye drops.

Please let me know.

    LOL. It shouldn't be a challenge to use up every single thing your are able to claim on for your health insurance!

    But I guess it is within the OzBargain spirit…

    Claiming non-prescription items (such as sunglasses), or prescription items for someone else (using your benefit) is considered to be fraudulent.
