Seeing to get this since im certain 100% will not be getting NBN in my area for the next 4 years…

$189.10 - $20 ( promo off for 24 month contract) = $169.10 month
no other discounts i could get…:\
The speed boost for Optus is $20 per month for 100mbps. I had this however cancelled it because the speeds to the US servers were rubbish (~2mbps) and also at peak times the speed was at ~50 mbps (they actually promise 42mbps minimum). If you really need 100 mbps, go with Telstra.
again - all of this predicates on whether you can get the service in your area… out of metro - most places are stuck on ADSL
He is this cable internet and is this the platinum foxtel package?
If you're willing to survive through;
Optus network (might be better, might be worse. Depends on your area)
Less channels (biggest difference)
Probably additional costs for a speedboost to 100mbs
No 500mb data sim
No GalaxyTab 3
No $50 post-paid plan allowance
No free mobile calls
But happy to gain;
Unlimited internet
Decent base saving (115+(speedboost cost)+(any other random fees) is likely to be less than 169.10)
