Hide store doesn't hit it from new deals

  Yes hiding the domain does not seem to work for the New Deals block on the side. It is only applied to the New Deals page. I shall have that fixed.

  I've got quite a number of poster and stores that I set to Hide, but is there a max limit? Lately I've tried to add stores and people to that list but the deal still appears when I open https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals

    Should be around 50. Can you give an example of site that you are trying to hide?

      I've ticked hide deal and poster, then either hit the X or clicked elsewhere on page to close the hide_request window but this doesn't seem to work.

      Was wondering if its an adblocker or browser from my end causing it but I've changed browser and the stores I've set to hide are showing still.

        Yeah it appears that you have blocked 50 users AND 50 stores (and one commenter). 50 is really just an arbitrary limit that I thought no one is going to cross — maybe it's not a good enough assumption. We'll probably raise it later.

        There's lots of store reps posting the same non-deal/spam offers out there.

        @payton: For "spams" from reps, the store rep throttling and auto-ban should take care of them if their deals don't get voted on OzBargain. Blocking them are probably not necessary.
