Dont Import Final Fantasy X, X-2 HD (PS VITA)

Dont import it, the case only includes FF X HD as physical copy,
FF X-2 is a code to be downloaded, hence if you buy a UK copy you wont be able to download it in your AUS psn account. (IF you do have UK psn then go ahead) im almost 90% sure it wont work.

Dont buy from WowHD, VideoEzy and Blockbuster aswell, their selling UK import.
some from Ebay aswell are selling UK import, better message the seller before buying to be sure.

Dont risk it, cheapest is Jb Hi Fi, their selling it for $54.98
or
If you have a fat memory card, same price from AUS PSN

  • What if you have a US PSN account?

    • wont work aswell…
DLC codes seems to be country locked.

  • Crap… already pre ordered from Blockbuster… Guess i'll have to make a UK PSN to d/l >_>

    • Just so you know you can't have 2 accounts on the vita without having 2 memory cards and reformatting everytime you switch.

Ops awkward… i thought this was for PS3 as well when i posted that… since they made the changes i'd assuming they do affect the PS3 right?

        • OP changed the title. It did say PS3 previously.

Both PS3 version and Vita will be fine. PS3 version is on bluray, no digital.

  • Is it the same with the Vita version? I don't believe they couldn't fit two PS2 games on a single Blu-Ray, up-ressed or not.

    • I believe OP is talking about the Vita version. Both games are included on the disc in the PS3 version.

    • apologies… title changed

I believe that UK dlc codes should work on AUS psn accounts (as Aus gets European versions of games anyway).

Did you have a link to verify it not working?

  • Any source confirming this? or did you try from personal experience? I have already ordered one from blockbuster awhile back

I got Everybody Golf, Little Big Planet and PlayStation All-Star which are UK imports and the voucher code for the Network Pass all worked. Have you failed to redeem any UK codes in the past?

I call BS. I've bought loads of PS3, PSV and PS4 games with EU/UK DLC and all have worked fine.

    • there are some region coded UK dlc, just so you know, not much but still some…

      • As far as I know Tal that is only for content that was never sold on our store.

        • Yeah I thought playstation kind of included Aus in the europe section so I dont't get why it wouldn't work

        • As long as the content is available in Australia and EU/UK the code should work. Only time I can think it won't work is when there is an exclusive UK/EU redeem code for a certain DLC or content that isn't available in Australia.

So….have you failed to redeem any EU/UK codes in the past? or are you just simply confident to throw in 90% it wouldn't work?

  • Hmm. I purchased from Blockbuster so will wait and see.

Had me worried for a moment, then, after reading everyone else's comments, I realised I've redeemed plenty of 'UK import' codes myself; Most recently I redeemed the Thief Bank Heist DLC from a copy I imported from Ozgameshop. On the other side, I've had no issue applying what little DLC I've purchased online to "UK import" games.

That aside, I'm pretty sure I read something about them releasing both X and X-2 separately onto PSN, so worst case scenario you'll probably end up paying just as much as buying it from JB/EB, and have a "UK code" to sell off, which will bring the 'overall' price down anyway.

It's good that you brought it up, but so long as it is unconfirmed it feels like scare tactics to get people to drop their cheap pre-orders and buy retail, although I'm sure this was not your intent.

I've been sent review codes for Dragon's Crown, Tearaway, Invizimals: The Alliance, Ys: Memories of Celceta and more from Bandai Namco Europe and when I redeemed them they said they were EU digital copies, yet they still all worked successfully on my PS3 and Vita. I wouldn't fret too much.
