SaveMyPics to Snapfish - Free Android App

Moved to Forum: Original Link

This Android app automatically saves a copy of photos on your phone to private Snapfish albums (using wifi.)

I take most of my pictures with my phone, and it's always been a chore to get them uploaded to the site. So I wrote this app that does it automatically, and have been using it for a few months now. It's been a hassle-free way to maintain an private online copy of my phone pictures, and it's so much easier to make photobooks on the computer as the phone pics are already on the site.

Thought others might find it handy too, so I published it as a free app on the play store. Hope you find it useful in conjunction with the periodic Snapfish deals.

Disclosure - I used to work for Snapfish a few years back as a programmer, but just use the site these days and don't have any business connection with them.

  • Good on you OP! I probably won't use it, as I like my photos to auto-upload into one of my cloud accounts instead. But I like your initative. Have you tried selling your app to Snapfish?

  • Thanks!

I did have a few conversations with Snapfish, but the code didn't quite fit into their current product schedule for a few (technology-related, among other) reasons. However, they were also kind enough to let me release this app independently regardless; as it needs their blessing in the form of an app-specific key to access their APIs.
