    980g? who ate the 20g? :p

Haha, we've migrated our transport solution across to Australia Post to ensure of a smoother delivery experience for our customers.

All orders are being shipped Australia Post overnight express so we needed to keep below 2kg to keep shipping cost down, The weight of the bags and satchel would push it just over hence the 20g reduction ;-)

      • Are AusPost so tight that they'd ping you for being 20g over? O_o

        • Clearly YES.

      • Are 2kg Express Post satchels new and/or a business-only thing?
They're not on the Australia Post website: http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/prepaid-satchels.html

        • They're not prepaid satchels, it's on a business account including e parcel. The express post jump up by $4-$5 when moving up into the 2-3kg bracket

    • Hi

I order the following on Tuesday. Any idea when it will be sent?

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/135842

      Thanks.

      • Should have been roasted and shipped the same day so might need to investigate. Please shoot me an email so I know which one your order is :-)

        • Email sent, thanks.

  • Hi Manna - thanks for that - just ordered - looking forward to trying these ones.
By the way - did you get any feedback about one of the Valentine deal beans you sent out? The Brazilian Fazenda Laranjal. I am struggling to drink mine - as espresso. Far too bright and acidic for me!

    cheers

Hiya, thanks and no I don't believe I did see the feedback. Yes that particular coffee is best suited as a lighter roast and therefore better as a milk based coffee. Lighter roasts tend to be more acidic and help this coffee cut through the milk better

Because a very dominant percentage tend to drink as milk based coffee in Australia we tend to cater more to this group with the Ozbargain deals.

I have some fantastic coffees which suit espresso well and we roast a bit darker for these. Maybe leave in notes on future purchase that your an espresso drinker and if you don't mind receiving alternative coffees then I can try to accommodate if we happen to be roasting something which would be better suited.

      Thanks very much :-)

      • Awesome - I will definitely do that - cheers!
Are the ones in this offer\batch good for espresso? Bit late now anyway! haha

I'll substitute the 980g Honduras for a Costa Rican that is roasted a bit darker which is great for espresso.

It's been roasted for a couple of days already so start on that one first and then move onto the others. I'll try my best on the other 2 x 480g for you. Please shoot me an email so I know which one your order is.

Cheers and have a great weekend

this is why I keep ordering beans from you guys! Great service. Cheers!

  • Hi Manna,
In addition to the postal changes… is $55 the $50 for these deals, or are these slightly more expensive beans? Cheers!

    • Sounds like same beans but a new price. :)

      • Colombian Inza Cauca Microlot is a more expensive bean and also some of the lucky dips will be more expensive. $49.95 is not sustainable for all deals which is why we mix it up a bit and offer different priced deals.

Also coffee prices have increased as have transport costs and also the Aussie dollar is down against the US which is driving up green bean pricing as this is the currency that it is bought in.
These have not been factored in yet as we still have stock but could effect some future pricing.

We constantly try to do our best and expose new coffees to people and run both cheaper deals and some more expensive beans also to cater to everyone

  • Would these beans work okay in a milk coffee?

    • Definitely well suited :-)

      • Pulled the trigger :)

Rep, can you draw a cat on the box?
