PS3 inFAMOUS for $60 + Postage from DVD.co.uk

100

Cheapest I've seen it anywhere. Can pick it up from Amazon for 62$ + postage. Any local retailers have it for $90+.

With an array of electricity-based super powers at their disposal, players can roam the open world of Empire City either to protect or destroy its citizens.

Open world titles such as Grand Theft Auto may give players a fully-realised city to explore, but its characters are still grounded in reality. In a similar vein to Xbox 360 title Crackdown, inFamous throws reality out of the window, giving players a huge variety of superhuman powers to utilize as they survey Empire City from top to bottom. Playing as urban explorer Cole, players can use their new abilities to protect or abuse the city and its citizens. Each decision the player makes will have an impact on their surroundings, ultimately deciding whether Empire City will be saved or destroyed.

With such powerful talents at a player’s disposal, the typical limits of free-roaming games have been removed, letting players scale tall buildings or create mass destruction at will. During combat, Cole can use his electricity moves in a variety of creative ways, even sending jolts of lighting from his hands to fling enemies through the air.

By removing the typical constrictions of open world titles, inFamous lets players enjoy the scope of Empire City without limit.

  • Shipping from UK — any idea how much does it cost?

  • I've used them before, and from memory it was less than $5.

  • +1

It says on the item near the bottom

Non-UK Shipping Surcharge £1.00. so about $2.50 or so.

  • Good work! I've no interest in Infamous but sooner or later there'll be a game I'm after and I'll be happy that someone's posting it to Ozbargain.

  • decent price

found the game a little boring for the first 1/3 though
grab prototype if u can get it cheap

  • is there any import tax or duty?

    • nope, but ur bank may charge u a conversion fee

  • It will be around 65 AUD delivered, which is still a bargain.
    As per today,UK£ 30.89 = 63.8090413 Australian dollars
Navigate to www.google.com. In the search text box, type "£30.89 to AUD" and press enter- at the top of the results, Google provides a conversion. ( Incidentally, this works for most measurement units- e.g., cm to ft etc.)
Add another 1.0 AUD or 1.5 AUD for Bank conversion fees…;-)

  • very cheap!! bought mine for $89 from JB. but i have purchased from here before. posting is within 2 weeks.

  • Is there any downside in purchasing from overseas? Alot of people don't seem to like "imports" when you're selling them off second-hand.. and can you trade these in afterwards, at say.. EB/JB Hifi?

Just got a PS3 so trying to get some cheap games, do they bundle if I purchase more than one?

    • nah its fine, the UK have the same region as us so its exactly the same product
it just travels further because it gets shipped to them first, then comes around to us

      • Cheers mate!

    • The PS3 games play just fine, (no region codes). However, keep in mind the Australian ratings logo for G, M, MA15, etc aren't on the US/UK versions.

GAME/EB won't really get too preoccupied about imports, but JB hifi will, since their system reads the barcodes for imports. they'll just reject it if they don't see the ratings stickers. sometimes they don't care, but the tradein system only accepts games they sell in their shelves, so if you bring in an import that has it's own barcode, it won't recognise it and they wont either.
