Not sure about Ryobi but seems bit steep
Aldi had similar one with similar battery for 300 but are now down to 250

Ouch, $500+ for a cordless electric mower? When powerful brand-name petrol mowers start at about $400 retail through dealers? Seems a bit harsh.

I've amassed a fair whack of Ryobi's One+ cordless gear and it is generally very good, but their hedge trimmer (which started the whole thing for me) has a handle that is far too weak. It also came with an interchangeable blade in a different size that you had to practically disassemble the unit completely to change over. In spite of the fact the handle is currently held on with hose clamps and glue, it's still a pretty powerful and effective trimmer.

But $500 for an electric mower? forget it.
