Returning item to Nike store

Hi,
I recently purchased a running top from the Nike store in Perth city.
The reason I purchased the top was I had forgotten a singlet and needed a top to go running in whilst I was away from the week on a business trip.
However I realised I didn't need the shirt and couldn't make it back to the same store during business hours to return it.

When I retuned to Melbourne I visited my local Nike store and was told (to my surprise) that I can't return the item since the nike stores are operated by separate owners.

Are people aware of this and is there any law that dictates I can get a refund since they operate under the same banner of Nike.

Cheers

I don't think you are entitled to a refund anyway as there is nothing wrong it. You should have tried to get store credit for it.

    • Yeah "change of mind" isn't covered by law, except where contractually - check the policy of the store.
