I'l looking for a charger that has a 2A+ USB port for my Nexus 7 dash install.
I'm okay with ordering online and waiting but am having trouble finding something that doesn't look dodgy.
Any suggestions?

Take a look at Kensington PowerBolt Duo Car Charger. It has 1x 2A port and a second lesser amp port.
From a looks perspective it is black and minimal and the one I purchased came with a apple iphone/ipad - USB cable. Charging works well through the 1x 2A port to charge ipad.
My experience with connecting the original Samsung Galaxy TAB 7 (Telstra) was that it did not charge with the Kensington Duo Car Charger and I ended up purchasing the original Samsung charger.
