I have decided to no longer use flybuys as i find i get better value using my Qantas FF through Woolworths Everyday Rewards.
Does anyone know if i can transfer my points to someone else and close my flybuys account?

You can give them to charity on the flybuys website. 10,000 points is equivalent to a $50 donation.

Are you able to change the details associated with the account and just give the card to someone else?
Flybuys will only transfer points or merge accounts if they are in the same name. If you're able change the details mentioned in navyblues comment then this strategy might work.
10,000 points is worth $50 flybuys dollars which can be used at Coles and many of the Coles group companies. I'd redeem as much as possible before closing or merging the account.
Well the obvious solution that comes to mind is to ask the recipient what they want from the rewards shop and have it sent to them. But of course this means they have to not mind you knowing what reward they are getting.
