[MELBOURNE] Find a cheap restaurant for a Birthday. 15 people. $30/head.

Hello,
I am currently a university student and am looking to throw a smallish birthday function. I am looking to pay around $30/head.
Any recommendations on restaurants are more than welcome!

Information:
Melbourne CBD and/or surrounding suburbs preferred
Friday or Saturday Night is when it will be occuring.
Must be able to be booked and can seat 15-20 people on adjacent tables or on one table or in a private function room. - Private function room is preferred!
Budget is around $30/head. A little extra is fine. $40 may be ok too but not optimal.
Would prefer options with possible main/dessert. Entree would be a plus and much appreciated.
Doesn't have to be a banquet style dinner, people can order their own items if possible. Banquet is fine too.

I have a few options but don't think I will throw them out just yet so I get a range of places.

    how is $30 to $40/head for a birthday function is cheap. just host a party at home will do

    http://www.gurkhas.com.au/ They have 3-4 course banquets for $30-40.

    I organised this place for a work function - it was roughly $25 per head (price may have gone up now) for a banquet meal (which was more than enough for each person), had great service and delicious food. Unfortunately not a separate function room but we were located upstairs where it wasn't overly crowded
