RELIABLE Lightning Cable

Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced aftermarket or certified lightning cable that wont fall apart after a month? Or should I just take the plunge and buy an apple one?

Cheers

  • The apple ones are the best I've used.
I own a belkin one as well and it's just as good but also pretty much the same price.

Non-certified ones are rubbish and break very quickly. Some I've used only work on one side as well.

  • I just faced this dilema. Had 4 'chinese' cables fail on me, which had been good for some time (survived the first update when Apple started killing them off). Then they must have updated again and that kept getting me the error message.

Ended up going for an apple original, saw the belkin one at basically the same price as the apple ones. Why not just go with apple there always really good with swapping things out on the spot if they don't work.

Will have to keep an ear out to see if anyone else has some good reliable cheapies.

  • I have an $4 cable from msy.com.au which is working fine on my iPhone 5c on ios 7.1
It's lasted long enough to be worth the $4 paid. YMMV :)
