Will the price on this telly sold at Bing Lee get any cheaper?

It's regular price on Monday was $399 (was $450 or 460 for most of last year) but it's on sale for the next two days at $395! :P

Was $396 + free shipping (shipping is normally $10 flat rate I think) in November

How low do the prices at Bing Lee for these low end models get when they reach end of life?

  • Why not get this? I just picked on up, good so far http://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-lcd-led-plasma/soniq/40-inch-ful…

    • I did consider that TV but decided I wanted more than 1yr warranty. Changhong/TCL/Hisense sets offer 3yrs.

Also the Soniq's running cost is a littler high. It's running cost with heavy usage (depending on rates) could be about $77/yr.

A similiar TV, a 39" JVC at Dick Smith (which looks like it came out of the same factory as the Soniq) was selling for about $355 + free shipping last week (intro price + 11% storewide discount) has a running cost of about $41/yr.
