1.47L, and was $20. I wonder how much it is really worth?

  • Is it any good?

Amazing. The fragrance is so good. Discovered Tide in NYC and never found anything better. Costco detergent is good but not as good as Tide. FYI druggies in America trade it for drugs. No kidding.

      • That's true.Unlike cash, tide is untraceable Which made it a better currency in states.

Love the fragrance. I've stocked up when it was reduced to $7. Before I had to get them from Ebay and shipped from US.

Tide is the top selling detergent in the USA. Its fairly cheap there, but so is grocery items in general

  • Just cleared out Woden Coles in Canberra. 10 bottles. Would have bought another 10 if they had them.

    • There are a dozen in Gungahlin Coles. Got 2 bottles for myself, and you can get the remaining 10!

  • Can't get it at my post code… :( shame I love the stuff

  • My GF's Canadian and loves the stuff so we picked up quite a few from Coles Southland. We also went to Mentone and Sandringham but they stock Tide with Downy (Downy is fabric softener) which is still $7.

  • Strange it's showing $7 at my local. Never tried (or even heard of) it before but from what folks are saying, even $7 is a decent price…

  • i used to get it at usa foods for about $20… this is a fab price…

    • Fab is the name of another detergent! =-O

  • Showing $7 on the site and it's "temporarily unavailable"

  • smells good and all but does it clean your clothes properly?

    • If it's leaving crap all over your clothes, the awesome smell must make up for it :)

I clean out all 14 bottles in Hillsdale. They still have the price tag $20.99 but when I scanned it turned out to be $4.90

  • Not convinced yet, but I did buy 3 from my local. $4.90 and marked as so.

Funny thing is, I was bored waiting in checkout so I facebooked a pic of the tide in the trolley to my good friend in Vegas USA, he responded with a pic of his own Tide (though twice the size of ours) saying he was just doing the laundry :)

It's the only one he uses too.

  • Got some today at Coles welland plaza, SA
Had about 20 on the shelf. I took six. Not sure if it is the same one I bought previously. Says it is for a high efficiency machine (shows a pic of a front loader on back) will probably be ok. I have a top loader, but I've used front loader stuff in other brands before.

    • From memory: front loader detergents are fine in top loaders but not the other way around.

I have a top loader too. The difference is top loaders are more sudsy, too much for a front loader, but with a top loader you have the best of both worlds.

BTW, that's the same version I got. I think they had the other (white bottle) version for $7, not sure what it was, didn't read it.
