Have heard about an outdoor speaker that can connect up to a tv with a small device, and thus transmit the audio to an external speaker. Im looking to get this for a friend who we often sit outside and have sport playing in the background inside. Any help would be great!

and then just some bluetooth speakers it should do the trick?
The distance will be around 7 meters, will it work through a glass door?
Yep, should work OK through glass at that distance. If there's a wall or metal fly screen though it might struggle.
Maybe a Bluetooth audio transmitter and Bluetooth speaker?
Or a wireless AV transmitter/receiver?
Both would need the receiver to be in fair proximity to the TV to work though.
ie within 10m and possibly line of sight.
Another alternative is maybe to buy a set top box and just plug the audio output from the Set Top Box into the speakers.. Will only work if you're "watching" Free To Air Sport and will require an antenna…
