You know things are bad when nearly $70 is considered a bargain for a game nowadays…!

    • How much do reckon is a bargain for a new release then?

    • +1

Game prices are very reasonable compared to a few years back. New releases were nevere under $89.

      "In my day"

  • Considering $99.95 @ eb, $88 @ bigw

  • Online only, but delivery only it seems, no store pick-up?

  • This is a bargin as you are getting the game at 1080P AND additional few hours of content for the same price as the other versions avaliable. this version should cos around 20% more but you are paying the same for additonal content + resolution.

    • Man although i completely agree with you, youre still with the 1080p comment. How many times have you already used it already. Damn

Thanks, too lazy about the '

          '.' after '

      • I only use it once per product…. each game is a different product and if there's a difference in resolution for a game but the price happens to be the same I would think the higher resolution version is the "bargin" since you are paying the same for something extra. So what is the issue here?

        • What do you mean by "bargin"? You always use this word.

        • The price is the cheapest around (outside of in-store), but I'm not sure how 1080p makes one version more of a bargain than one without? Sony probably pushes for 1080p only, which is why we get it. And that extra PS4 exclusive content is only there because Sony have thrown money at publishers to get it to entice people to get a PS4 over the Xbox One. (There are plenty of reasons to get a PS4 over Xbox One, but I digress)

Ultimately, the product is the same with a couple of extra hours of content (which will no doubt differ from product to product), and is a strategy to make people believe the product is superior/worth more; your posts are clear evidence that it works.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Sony person myself, adopted day one, and am all for the extra content/higher resolution, but your logic seems really flawed. Applying the same logic, PC games should cost more because they have higher resolution (1440+) and have potentially 'unlimited' extra content through modding. Incidentally, they are the cheapest versions, more often than not, without even getting a better price from online key sites.

        • so higher resolution and additional content but you still think one is not better value for money then the other? if for the same price you can choose wouldn't you choose the superior one everytime? and yes higher resolution and more content does make this version superior.

same examples you see for movies in the shops the blu ray always cost more than the DVD. the only difference is the resolution….

      • How many times have you already used it.

  • Shush you about resolution.

  • I haven't seen any new previews to know, but have the visuals been downgraded or is this haters hating?

  • You guys know its actually cheaper in store right?

The game retails at $80, deposit $10 and get $10 off the price for pre-orders.
Making the game $70 and pick up on the day. ($68 +$5 = $73)

    • What store did you do that it? Thought it was just a deal for infamous second son

      • pretty sure it works for all pre-orders the sign did say pre-orders, nothing specific.
I ordered mine at Mt Druitt but i saw it at penrith too I believe.

  • I wonder how many times this game will be on sale before release… I preordered it at this price last week

  • Says online only so store pre order $10 would not apply.

  • I'd be wary about putting deposits down with this company. With the insane amount of crazy % off sales that DSE have been having latley along with the almost non exsist stock levels on their website, to me, It screams of a company in serious trouble.
