Not sure if paying a little extra for USB 3.0 was worth it, but still a good buy at $10 delivered

    • I will give it a go, hope they are good

      thanks for your response

  • plenty on ebay australia. ship from sydney/melbourne.

    • I bought one before from ebay but it died with a month.
so I asked to see what people buy

      anyway thanks for your response

      • A Thermaltake ST0041Z only costs $19 from MSY. It's also USB 3.0.

Don't buy those cheap unbranded ones. They're made using inferior quality components which can cause data corruption during file transfers.

        • this what I am afraid of. last year bought one and lost a lot of files because of the case,

its seem good price for a USB 3.0 case and branded name. they dont have usb 2? so may be will be cheaper

        • It won't be that much cheaper. USB 2 cases average around 10~15 bucks a pop, so $19 for a USB3 casing is reasonable., but look around on the MSY site.

  • How "old" laptops?… check drives are SATA (v older IDE/PATA)
