Ninja ULTIMA BLENDER+

Hey guys, how ya'll doing?

Anyway, we've just received our Ninja Ultima Blender+ today, which was bought and brought over from the US by my Auntie.
Now, here's the problem.
We've just tried it out and through my brother's ignorance and stupidity he blew the god damn machine, $240+ gone into the bin. Problem was he used the wrong power adapter/converter and it blew the machine when connected to the power point.

I'm asking you guys whether we can get this replaced over from the US?

Or is it just burnt bread to be thrown into the dumpster?

Please help guys, thanks a lot!

  • lol wrong voltage. 120v ac in the usa. 240v ac here. adapter plugs aren't going to help

    • Yes i know, my brother f***** it up. Anythign i could do from here? Like warranty and all?

    From the warrant info:

    http://www.ninjakitchen.com/PDF/NinjaWarranty.pdf

..Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit.

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or defects caused byorresulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service or alteration to the product or any of its parts, which have beenperformed by a repair person not authorized by EURO-PRO Operating LLC.

Also, even if you do claim warranty and get a replacement, you wouldn't be able to use it in Australia without using a step down converter, and even if you were to use a step down converter the electric motor might not be compatible and will burn out because it operates on a different AC frequency (50hz I think).

    • Thanks scrimshaw, couldn't believe you've researched for me. I'm very thankful. I had a feeling about this machine. zzz.. told my parents not to purchase it in the first place..

      Well, thanks.

  • truth is you never shoulda bought one in the first place…they're pretty shit in review anyway..

    • Haha, my parents wanted to purchase one and so they did. They told my aunty to purchase it because she was coming over to Aus. I didnt know about this until it was too late - i did tell them it was shit but it's their fault (impulse buying). And now my dad is all pissed off. What dafuq.

  • saw this on tv shopping, seems like a total scam
