Edit: I have marked this as expired because Hobart has none left and whilst still available online I suspect most other stores have sold out.

Picked one of these up at my local (Hobart) Officeworks this evening, there was a stack near the checkout.

Figured it would be OK for the garage/shed.

Comes with a key and mounting kit(screws + plastic anchors)

Build quality seems pretty good, box says made in Germany.

Your local Officeworks may have lots or none!

    might make a nice case for some project I guess, but the towels are not cheap, and the towels tend to fall out on many of this type of dispenser

      Yeah stock quantities for clearance items never seem to show for store pickup, I know someone else grabbed 2 after me and I'm actually tempted to go and get another one tomorrow.

      Regarding the towels falling out, the bottom of this setup seems better than most, looks like the top of a tissue box, ie rectangular towel coming out a smaller oval hole.

      I brought a box of H4 towels packs that were also on special for 75cents per pack (down from $6-$7?), they are about 10mm too wide, I'll be trimming each pack with the circular saw to fit, why? because cheap.

      Buy two. Install one with towels in it. Install another one next to it but upside down as a bin.

      That's the original price on the ticket, I have no doubt it was way over priced.

      However I have worked for some businesses before who would pay that kind of money for stuff like that :S

    Stock up on the towels if they have any, and remember which one your dispenser takes. I'm an ex-employee & was often trying to chase up towels for discontinued dispensers. It was quite a headache when people didn't know which dispenser they had, or which towel it took ("it's a white one" is not very helpful). There is also a good chance officeworks will discontinue the towels unless they are common ones used by another dispenser. They frequently sold out of popular sizes too, thanks to the (not so) awesome automated ordering system.

      Just get your own ABN and buy the towels from the suppliers in bulk, get a box of 12 this should last you quite a while and cheaper than purchasing it from OW.

    good stuff! bit of a mess cutting it but I just sat the vacuum cleaner next to it pick up anything that didn't go into the inbuilt sawdust collector

    Bah went to Springwood OW today and they have no towel dispenser in stock at all.
