      Obviously care enough to down vote.
      Not sure why you think they're poor quality unless you've actually owned a pair. Clarks have always been a fairly reputable brand in terms of quality so not sure why the hate.

      Never owned a pair of clarkes but for $49 im ready to give em a try. Ive tried hushpushy which were terrible (leather on top peeled off after only few months) and usually only buy Julius marlow (great quality leather, reasonable sole) and florshhiem when a good deal comes along. Hope clarks will fit the bill.

      Yes, the best sale on Clark Website ever was like this up to 50% off but you could add a coupon code to get extra 25% off the discounted price! that was on Feb but not anymore

    You can't add the $10 off coupon to sale items but I still ordered a pair of the mens brown Flenk Lace shoes. I figure 7 years out of my now superseded dress shoes is reasonable economy for an OzBargainer. They haven't really had soles for the last year or two but I held out for a deal!

    Unfortunately not a fan of their mens dress shoes. I have found that the soles are slippery and do not wear well, and the internal lining fluffs up after a short period of use.

    I agree that the originals range is great though. It's a pity that the styles available on the AU website is limited. I was in HK last year and there are stores selling Clarks originals everywhere, with much much better colour and style selections.
