I've also given up on them for t-shirts. The quality is utterly horrid and I have no idea how they justify what they sent me to be a womens' t-shirt. Seriously, weirdest cut I've ever seen.
I got a girl one for the girl at work and yep the cut was WEIRDDDDDDDDDDDD like they assume women are actually fatter then men on average? WORST cut. The shirt was a .. large? but it's like they sent her an XXL - the mens cuts are a bit more realistic.
Yeah look the actual quality of the material is pretty bunk EVEN ON THE PREMIUM MATERIAL. - Mind you they are based in Australia - run by (seemingly) Australians - so if you just want a basic shirt with fast shipping, and holy goddamn shit is it fast shipping, I was blown away - then it's worth it.

I always wear an undershirt because I'm a fat prick and I don't like ruining my good stuff with sweat marks, so it means the material quality isn't as important, since it's not touching my skin (but it's still important)
I found black looks better on shit quality material than white too.
I got a cabinet sanchez shirt printed on a long sleeve tee and I think the long sleeve is better than the short, IIRC for quality of material.

I'm not one of those super gross green underarm guys but my shirts do stain, seems to have only hapenned when I hit 30 :/
Anyhow a small, tight, white undershirt is great to keep your proper shirts from going nasty.
The black mens shirts are Gildan and the quality is quite good. I agree the white shirts are very cheap and nasty.

I have a bunch of vistaprint tshirts which I generally like apart from how quickly they fade and develop holes, but with the last one I ordered the material was noticeably more coarse and itchy, and the fit was awful. Weirdly tight around the shoulders and neck. Anyone else have a similar experience?
It's Vistaprint… everyone has that experience :)
But in fairness to them, there is nowhere else you can get custom shirts this cheap. So as brownbag said, they can be useful for if you need a few custom shirts for a one-off event.
Try cowcow.com for cheap printables. With their regular facebook coupons we got a shirt for $11 delivered. Quality a shade better than vista, but not dramatically so.

I've given up on Vista Print. The quality of the cotton is so bad that is is not worth doing even for hardly nothing. Unless you need a few customised T-shirts printed for an event, then it could be useful.
