Dryclean or solvent clean car seats

I have tried to keep my Toyota in pristine condition, and so, when I bought it new, I put on Genuine Toyota seat covers. When I went to replace the seat covers after 10 years, I found that the fine layer of foam backing has virtually glued itself to the upholstery. Some came off with a vaccuming, but there is still bad staining. I can try to get it cleaned by a detailer, but I do not want to pay the call out fee. Anyone know a detailer in Sydney who I could call on to get an opinion on treatment options, if any. Any other suggestions? A decent set of seat covers to hide it will cost around $160 but I would rather repair the seats if possible. I rang some wreckers to price 2nd hand replacement seats, but they were hopeless.

With great excitement, I answer my own post. I discovered De-Solv-it at Bunnings. It is hard work, but rubbing it in, and then scrubbing the area with a nail brush & soapy water has brought the seats up like new. Who would have thought!!
De-Solv-it can be used on, amongst other things, wax, chewing gum, tar/grease/oil. It is a "natural citrus base".
