Err has this always been free or has it recently changed. I think their should be a separate forum thread for useful websites as there is literally millions on the web.

Google; A massive online database of pretty much every manual you can think of in PDF format ;)

    • Yes lets make, Google.com a deal, reddit a deal, lifehacker.com,google map(free maps!) etc you see where I'm going. Except they are pretty well known and this site isn't really so I guess the deal is somewhat valid.

      • Oh don't forget ozbargain!

  • It really p****s me off when people that have been here for 2 minutes, with a handful of posts, decide what should and shouldn't be a deal. I really hope the mods don't move this to forums. Just my 2 cents worth.

    • Except for the fact that if it's always been free, it's specifically not allowed as a deal:

Let's all pack up and go home. Poedgirl, please concentrate of finding some nice deals for the community, rather than preaching rules and regulations to me. Feel free to neg me to oblivion. Have a nice day.

Congratulations on all your fine deals but don't get me wrong why do some many of the power deal sharers get worked up over if the deal stays/get moved. I have a gut feeling there is a significant financial incentive not being disclosed on top of awards which were presented last year. Maybe you get $$$ based on total number of deals above 20+ votes or something similar. I'm sure noone will say anything as that violates your agreement, and I wholeheartedly agree, a business should be allowed to conduct business but at least be upfront. Just like the so called COTD april fools "combined prank". I'm sure they got plenty of bonus traffic while Scotty got a cut. I dont care if it happens, just be fair dinkum eh?

Take it easy Davo. There are ZERO monetary incentives for our/my efforts.

All I've ever received from Ozbargain are 2 awards at $100 (see here).

I get worked up coz I go to all the trouble of finding deals, then people that never contribute anything worthwhile to the community, tell me how to do what I do.

And yes, I admit, I get a massive kick out of watching my deals get +ve votes. It's an adrenalin rush knowing I'm doing some good for others, no matter how small.

So, when a deal I believe is beneficial gets moved to forums, I obviously get upset coz I know the audience has dropped by about 95% for that deal. 5 minutes later, I'm over it. Have a nice day :)

        • Sorry, No financial incentives, no agreements with users, no secret deals with CatchoftheDay.

          Fair dinkum Davo.

        • It's not COTD, it's that nanny state out to get ya Davo…damn gubbermint! ;)

whilst i understand your frustration and appreciate your efforts like everyone else, manuals are generally free, hence a forum not deal post - sorry

    • Well, I am one of the guys you describe, but I realise the value of your input….keep up the good work!

  • Nice, thanks. It always angers me when the manual for sale sites dominate google!

  • Thanks tightarse. It looks like a great site, I've already bookmarked it.

  • Thanks TA, like mskeggs, I hate trawling through page after page to get a free manual, this will be quite helpful!

  • Thank you Tightarse for bringing this to my attention I've been searching hi and low for many manuals. I didn't realize until today you could get these free Cheers!
