AirAsia MaXimise your meals voucher with incorrect voucher(s) password

Does anyone in here participated in the AirAsia Maximise my meal promotion and received their voucher?

Our family have received ours, however the voucher password all seems to be incorrect.
Does anyone have the same problem?

  • Same here, I have spoken to online chat and talked to two people on the phone. No one knows why these vouchers are not working. They suggested emailing online. Vouchers took 3 months to process and now they don't work. Still waiting for a reply. Not very happy.

    • The initial offer indicates that the vouchers would be received by the end of March, which they "amended" without notice to "between 1 Mar 2014 and 30 Apr 2014".

      I've already tried the online chat two days ago, and they are clueless!

      Did they tell you the email address to escalate this to?
      Or you are using the online form which states "up to 5 working days to get the response"?

      • They never reply within 5 working days. So then you wait a few more days and then go to their facebook page and ask them to escalate the enquiry. And then, when they escalate the enquiry, wait another ? days and eventually you will get a lame and unhelpful email reply.

        • Agreed, that has been my experience as well. They never reply to your enquiry and then you have to wait forever to get a response from their online chat, only to have them tell you to send the darn enquiry again.

  • Instead of waiting weeks for an email, you should try escalating on the phone until you get a result. Tell them you've been waiting forever, or that it's not working and you want it resolved.

    Don't be afraid to get angry if they brush you off :)

    • I'll try this as soon as I didn't get good (or ANY) response within 5-6 days with the e-form inquiry.

  • I have been telling them I can't Authenticate the vouchers from the provided passwords in the voucher email and here is the (not-so-surprisingly) "useless" response after 5 DAYS from AirAsia:

    With regards to your email, kindly be informed you will need to authenticate your vouchers before you can utilize them.

    Please be informed that when you receive your voucher, there will be a link sent to you along with the email where you can authenticate the vouchers.

    Once you have performed the authentication, there will be an E-Gift voucher payment option at the end of your booking at the Payment and Review page.

    Trust the above clarification helps.

    Feels like I'm talking to a bricked wall. None of them also have any clue when I actually CALL them.

  • Try emailing [email protected]. And keep it simple for them. I doubt that you will get satisfaction, but nothing to lose.

  • After a fruitless online chat, I was requested to email:

    Good news is that it has finally triggered a response from airasia.
    Fingers crossed that the problem has been identified and hopefully result in a global fix.

    • I hope they can resend everyone's vouchers with the correct authentication password.

      • it appears that the vouchers only valid for airasiax flights.
        the bigger problem is that it doesn't work online.
        so the only solution is to email your requests eg. meals, luggage, and offset this cost by the vouchers processed manually by the representative.
        stay tuned for updates. I'll pass on the rep's email when I've obtained permission.
        hang in there…it'll work out in the end.

        • OK, I've received a $43 discount on meals and luggage.
          Pity I couldn't use the full $60 in vouchers that I had but better than nothing.
          It is a manual process, you need to contact [email protected]

          Make sure you spend the full amount by working out the values of the extras beforehand.
          Only flights on airasiaX are discounted, not airasia.

        • Thank you, they resend all vouchers to me with the correct password (and successfully authenticated).
          I'll try redeeming them online and go through your approach if it doesn't work.
